Your registration fee includes your race entry, a finishers t-shirt, and a medal. There may be additional parking fees, bag drop fees, and insurance fees required.

Our Fitness Zones are part of what make NATIVE-X so unique. At different points of the race, you will have to complete small workouts including 2-3 functional movements, with 10-20 repetitions of each. For example, you might have to complete 15 Wall Balls, 15 Walking Lunges, and 15 Broad Jumps at one zone before continuing in the race.

You are in charge of choosing what exercises and obstacles you take on. The competitive race wave will require participants to complete all Fitness Zones fully, in order to be eligible for prizes. During the open wave, we encourage you to complete the zones to the best of your ability, but you are ultimately in charge of which exercises and obstacles you attempt. No volunteer or race staff can force you to complete any portion of the race.

You should arrive to the venue 45-60 minutes ahead of your preferred start time, to ensure you are checked-in and at the start line on time. Start times will not be assigned, and will be first come first come first serve.

You will choose a preferred start time when registering, however, it will be first come first serve on race day. We will send waves of racers out every 5 minutes.

┬áDon’t be so intimidated. We chose the 3-4 mile race distance, so that almost everyone can handle the course. You’re going to be challenged by the race trail, obstacles, and fitness zones, but you will have the ability to modify exercises and bypass obstacles as necessary when participating in an open wave. We encourage team work to get through all the challenges on the course. Only the competitive race wave will require mandatory individual completion of obstacles and fitness zones in order to be eligible for prizes.

Yes, bag check will be available for $5 per bag.

There will be 1 water station for every 1 mile of race distance. For the 3-4 mile course, you expect 3-4 water stations.

We will do our best to never cancel a race, but we can’t control the weather. If the weather causes the course to be unsafe for participation, we will cancel. There are no refunds for cancellations, as the cost to organize the race is substantial. In the event of a cancellation, we will still provide finisher shirts to all registrants and discount codes for a future race.
